Hands up if you have had a ‘mare getting Spice Girls tickets this morning?

Tickets for the long-awaited Spice Girls reunion went on sale this morning, and while many fans were delighted to nab tickets, not everyone was so lucky.

Despite the announcement claiming tickets would go on sale at 10.30am, the queus opened at 10.28am – leaving fans scrambling.

Fans on social media complained that they were repeatedly kicked out of the Ticketmaster queue, with the website declaring: ‘Something’s gone wrong.’

When Metro.co.uk attempted to acquire tickets, we managed to get two – before they disappeared from the basket, with a message reading: ‘It’s not you, it’s us.’

And within minutes of the tickets going on sale, there were countless listings on resale sites, with tickets going up to £1,000.

The tickets on Viagogo began from £140, despite the tickets starting at £66 on official sites.

Luckily for those who missed out, there were new dates added at 11am.

Spice Girls will now play Wembley Stadium on 14 June as well as 15 June, while they will be playing the Etihad Stadium in Manchester twice on 31 May and 1 June.
