She’s had her fair share of relationship highs and lows over the years, but Cheryl has taken the drastic step of ruling herself out of dating ever again following her split with Liam Payne.
According to Cheryl, her romantic life is ‘over’ and the only man she needs in her life is her young son Bear.
35-year-old Cheryl made the comments during a candid chat with singer Jessie Ware as part of her Table Manners podcast.
Cheryl said: “I know what I want in life, but in the romantic area, I am not as evolved. That area has stopped. It’s not happening anymore. It’s the end. It’s the end.”
Jessie then protested: “No, you’re too beautiful.”
But Cheryl was adamant she no longer needed a fella. “I’ve got the man in my life now. [Bear],” she said.
Elsewhere in the podcast, Jessie’s mum suggests Cheryl could find a nice Chelsea footballer near her current home in Surrey.
“Er… been there, done that,” quipped Cheryl in response.
Cheryl split with the father of her one-year-old son Bear’s in July this year.
After giving away a sneak preview of her new single, Love Made Me Do It, Cheryl was forced to deny she made a sweary reference to her ex partner Liam.
In the catchy pop track Cheryl sings: “I’m such a sucker, I fall in love with every f***er.”
But according to Chez, the line was written before she and Liam called time on their romance.
“That’s the easiest thing for the critics to write,” she said.
“But actually, all the music and songs I’ve got ready were done way before we split… none of them are about anybody.”
Cheryl, 35, and Liam, 25, started dating after she split from second hubby Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
Before that Cheryl was married to footballer Ashley Cole for four years, before they split in 2010 amid allegations of cheating.
